Coloring without a tablet... orz .. I don't know how he can stand it. Kantoku is amazing!
That's not a tablet on the desk?

That's a light box, not tablet.
Eroge graphics was a mixed image of a scanned analogue drawing and a vector digital painting.
Since photoshop was bad at painting with a tablet, many used to paint with a mouse.
I'm amazed at how thin his light box is. Whenever I see them, they're really thick because they have a huge lightbulb inside.

Fluorescent light. Plus it's always easier to draw on paper, scan it and use the pen tool for inking, which I have always found better.
The main monitor: LG w2600vfp, the upper one: samsung 226BW, both of them are based on TN panel. I thought all first-rank artists should have an EIZO monitor or at least something close. It seems a non-professional monitor is enough for Kantoku to get work done.
Color accuracy is no too big issue as long as skin doesn't pick up an unpleasant tone. But it's always a good idea to use properly-built, calibrated monitors or when old ones break down you are in trouble.
