This artist does some great work, but I really don't like how they draw eyes. Lots of otherwise great images seem ugly to me with those eyes. Oh well, to each their own I suppose.

seriously? it's a pretty style.

anyway someone tell me, what's with these "garters"? i don't get it, i don't know what they are for, etc.

Garters were originally used to hold stockings up, as stockings originally didn't have built-in elastic tops. You can see how garter belts got their names from this origin as well. Nowadays, of course, they are pure decoration, since as you see in this pic, there isn't even a stocking being held up.
