First, Yuri(ppe, from "Angel Beats!"). Now, Sora...

I'd like to know if it is really a coincidence (hard to believe, still) or if the creators of the design of these characters were inspired by Haruhi's appearance.

In addition, it's true that Sora = Haruhi with only a change of colors (more than Yuri, whose haircut and airband were both a bit different). Very strange.

There are limits to character designs in certain ways, so it's normal that something like this might occur. There are always "copys" or something similiar. For example the story of Evangelion compared to Freezing. If you watched both anime, you'll com to understand :)

There's always the possibility, that she's a huge Haruhi-fan and wears that hairband deliberately this way.
