藤枝雅と申します。
今回は100人展へ参加させていただけた事とても光栄に思います。
今回のテ一マ「日本」の単語を聞いたときに一番最初に湧いたイメージが神様でした。
…いや、本当は巫女とか着物とかもばんばん頭をかけ巡ったのですけれども。今の日本を優しく照らしてくださる神様など居てくださればと思いつつ描きました。
誰かの安らぎの一瞬になれれば嬉しいです。


My name is Miyabi Fujieda.
I am most honored to have been selected to participate in the ‘Eshi 100’ exhibition.
The moment I heard the word ‘Japan’ as the theme for the pictures, my mind turned to the image of a Shinto god.
...Well, actually, thoughts of shrine maidens and kimono also flashed through my mind.
I thought that what Japan needs now is a gentle god to shine down upon her.
I will be happy if this picture provides somebody with a moment’s relief.
