over 12 years agoResult:
The images with the text is the original one. Where as the one without is shopped.
Methodology:
......1. Observation. The Morie pattern or screening in the eyes indicate that both were scanned (and one was processed).
......2. Compare the two images pixel by pixel The result showed that the only differences concentrate near the text. Because of 1, we are sure that one of them is shopped (, not digitally generated).
......3. Now apply PCA (you can treat it as decomposition that makes something more obvious) and observe PC1 (Trick: you can slightly tile your screen). I observed circular inconsistency in post214517. The artifacts might be caused by circular clone or blurring tools in Photoshop.
Conclusion:
The text is original.

over 12 years agoBesides ELA, another evidence is there is a 0.5 degree of angle between the text a horizontal line, which is the same as the angle between the crease I found and a vertical line.
Does any shopper do this? Or the shopper is clever. He/she scanned the shopped version.
