Electric guitars aren't really electric in the sense that most electrical items are - the vibration of the steel strings generates tiny magnetic fields which in turn generate miniscule electrical charges in the coils of the pickups, which travels along the cable and is read and amplified by the amp to generate the distinctive sound. That is to say that the guitar doesn't take any electricity in nor ever deals with anything but a tiny harmless electrical charge which it generates. Not that it apparently stopped stage managers from demanding a whole fire crew be at the side of the stage when they were first used!

Plus, this one doesn't appear to be plugged in.
