Hmm but why curl+API is much slower than direct upload from the /upload webpage?

For my connection now using curl I can only get up to ~350KB/s but in normal upload I can easily reach 1.2MB/s.

Batch upload is no good?

yep, uploading to FTP is fine, but after that it takes you lots of time to import/tag/parent them ...

Not to mention you have to change the dir name manually one by one otherwise you just can't import them from FTP to site due to some characters :/

Now I just need to select the dir then all the images in sub dir will be uploaded and get tagged/parent decently :p

I think the problem with some characters was solved...
