Sakura densen ijonashi (All Quiet on the Cherry Blossom Power Lines)

With the arrival of spring we look up at the cherry blossom but what catches our eyes in the cities is the tangled web of power lines that has been strung carelessly from the utility poles. These wires are essential to contemporary Japanese life and serve to make our lives more convenient. I think that this mixture of nature and its opposite create a form of Japanese scene.
