Technically shouldn't she be listed as Sinon instead of Shino Asada? This is that character's appearance and not the "real" person's appearance. (Similar to the how Leafa/Suguha is handled on this site.)

I only realized that this practice happened yesterday with venera-sama and hoshimiya_kate. I think tagging will get too messy if this was done wide-spread.
I think alter-ego's should be aliases in most cases.

In this case though, I think it goes beyond a simple alter-ego. This is an in-game avatar that's controlled by Shino Asada, but it's not Shino. It's Sinon. It would be like having a picture of Leeroy Jenkins, but instead tagging it as Ben Schulz.
But yeah at the very least, the names should be linked.

I thought about it a little more last night. This is a case where I think it could apply. Characters like kirito or asuna_(sword_art_online), not so much, as their appearances are generally quite similar.

Yeah, due to the plot of SAO, all the characters there ended up looking like the players. Besides, Asuna's real name is the same as her character name so there's no problem there anyway. And Kirito is the avatar's name, but everyone calls him that in real life too. Thanks for the change to Sinon though!
