Glasses only work when they're on your face. The image doesn't get clear through the glasses when they're at a distance. They effect your eyes, not the environment.
Glasses do not work like that.

Well, they do, but the image distorts, breaking and becoming smaller.

Depends on diopter, glasses still work in certain distance.. but yeah the image should be smaller.

I'm doing this with my glasses right now and yes, they can work like that, but this just isn't portrayed properly.

I wear glasses as well (My life depends on it).
Don't forget it also depends on the person as well.
So agree or disagree, it depends on how well or f***ed up your sight is to the glasses position.
