I like this post! So beautiful!
The full size version don't work :(
Try downloading it with DownThemAll! before viewing.
The fullsize link simply doesn't work for me at all if I click it normally. I always open stuff in background tabs though, and that works fine with the fullsize link so it's all good.
Azerty: try that if it doesn't work clicking normally :)
Uh, that's a middle click to open in new tab btw, just in case it wasn't clear.
What browser are you using? It works for me in every browser I test. (Even IE6, though most everything else is broken there...)
I have download the image and it's work, but the loading in Windows to view the image is very long, have you a program to view the big images without loading ?

(sorry i'm not english so it's difficult for me to explain).
petopeto - I actually just tried a few images and they seem to work now. I've never bothered checking again really because as I said, I open images in a background tab with middle click anyway, so it's not actually something that hinders me in any way :)
Maybe it was some random problem with my browser or settings or something at the time, I've had weird things happen like this before occasionally.
Incidentally, I use opera, have done for years now.

CTRL+Left Click

Probably your PC is at fault. What is its specification?
I have a good computer, 2gb, core2duo, radeon hd 4870, but if i zoom the image it's very long :/
What are you using to view the image on your PC?
I use the defaut program in windows (i don't know what is the name of this program in english).
It looks like you're using FF3 (not the default in Windows). That's what most of us use. How long is "very long"? The larger images will always take a while to download.
Install the GIMP on your machine. See how fast it opens the downloaded image.
Ah yes, with Gimp is better, i never use this program (i use Photoshop).

Thanks Radioactive.
There are light-weight image viewers on the market, but I'm not sure what to recommend for Windows.

I use GQView on Kubuntu. It also has a really good duplicate detection feature.
I use Irfanview for most simple stuff like resizing or viewing out of the ordinary formats and so on. It's freeware, it's powerful, and has the best batch conversion features I've used :)
XnView is the only clean one I've found. It doesn't like this image, incidentally, but it's fast and non-nagware. (But not open source--there are plenty of nits I'd like to fix ...)
Irfanview is clean as well, it bugs you to install the google toolbar during setup but you can just untick that and you're not bugged about that or anything else again afterwards.

edit: ooh, edit comments was implemented? awesome :D

Also, just tried opening this in irfanview, it takes a short while to load it up but otherwise is still pretty speedy and doesn't lag.
I tried it (as well as every other one I could find), and all I remember is not liking it--though it's been too long for me to say why.
You beat me to my edit. I like it, it does what I need it to (mostly speedy batch conversions of all the dozens of cg packs I download in share every week heh).
