This is my own scan and my first time as well. I borrow a scanner from my friend and I scan couple pic from my collection (I try to scan a B2 size tapestry with a A4 size scanner... and of course the result was bad.). Because I'm lazy so I only fixed one this week. As a newbie I really struggle a lot while processing the scan. Hope someone can tell me how to improve it.

It's due to the poor quality of the RAW scan. Fireattack mentions it in the forum.

Your filtering will work better on a good scan.

Yeah I think the scan just bad. Since I use a pretty bad scanner(F2235).
But I don't often scan so I don't have my own scanner maybe some day I'll buy one.
