I don't mind barbell nipple piercings (they don't suit all women though), but the type shown above turns me off. Especially when I think about them getting caught on something... ugh.

LOL. I'm pretty much the opposite. I find nipple rings sexy but not the barbells. That being said, it would indeed be very bad if they caught on anything (which is probably a big part of why the barbell ones seem to be more popular). And hanging parts of your clothing on them is just begging to be injured. This would be just as sexy without that IMHO - and less dangerous. But, as with most such images, this is all about how it looks and not how functional it is. I very much doubt that very many (if any) women would actually do this - even those who would willingly wear nipple rings.

I do like this image though, much as I would hope that no woman would be this stupid...
