Um, their bangs are a bit long. Eyes are a critical part of the Bishoujo concept. When their hair is so long it awkwardly covers their eyes, not only does it look weird, but it ruins the qualities of the characters.

It's quite common in anime and related media to have eyes show through hair. Never been a fan of it either but it's apparently a thing.

It's extremely common to make hair transparent, not only to the eyes but also brows and other facial details, just check the avatars in this conversation 3 of the 4 have transparent hair, the brows are showing even tough the hair covers it, some artists don't even draw the tips of the hair that's covering the eye has if it was cut off.
