Interesting scene possibly depicting transhumanism in the future.

We can definitely tell that this scene takes place sometime in the near future. The cars are designed much differently, but ultimately still drive on roads. The noticeable difference being a window taking up the entire ceiling of the vehicle, unmistakably similar to the Distance car model. However, the city looks identical to present cities overall. And the road is still using traditional street-lighting styles. There is however a futuristic-style road-sign that could be using holographic technology.

So it is fair to say that this scene takes place somewhere around 2-5 decades in the future. It is also very likely that transhumanism would be present in at least a few decades time. So it does make a lot of sense.

I'm guessing that the child's parent became a post-human, because of a law which prevents children, up until a certain age, from having the transformation procedure performed on their bodies. And in that day and age, it would be normal for children to walk around with their posthuman parents. Seems really crazy to think about that kind of lifestyle right now, but who knows what awaits us in the future.

Or maybe the child's parents just hired a robot baby-sitter.
That's a pretty good idea. The transformation might be prohibited until after you have children for obvious reasons, but then the question is, are children necessary anymore?

It doesn't look that futuristic, IMO. You don't have to look for for a similar car. Off the top of my head, FF Panorama and Model 3 have full glass ceilings.
yea that was my point, it's very capable for modern reality to access and exist as such a world. the idea really is interesting to me, and i believe there are many possibilities that we can draw relations to from right now in the present.

Really just something off the top of my head as well. Fun and interesting to interpret it and hear other's interpretations.

Probably my favorite thing about any kind of artwork is how enjoyable it is to come up with interpretations and share your ideas and appreciation with others. "Maybe there's some backstory to the painting," or "I wonder what went through the artist's mind when painting this piece." I think it's really cool that we can ask questions, discuss, and share our feelings about the artwork together
