Yes the original image is using CMYK profile (since we don't strip them any more), which most of browsers doesn't support. So it shows as a very over saturated colors (the browser would just consider the raw data it is RGB and show it as so. You can download and open with Photoshop to check the "correct" color).
The thumbnail and the sample are (correctly) converted to sRGB profile, so the colors are shown right.
Note: I added quotation to correct because it's not really possible to show correct CMYK color on most of screens.
