Why is this get deleted and not the twitter version? Shouldn't it be Pixiv > Twitter?

They are all png and pixel-wise identical (yes, I compared).

So the earlier version stays.

What do you mean that this? Are you referring to their dimensions (H/W) or like actual pixels differences.

Edit: I really do want to apologizes if I came off as being a little salty in my previous comment. I'm used to thinking that Pixiv/Seiga > Twitter when it comes to both parent/child post and overall quality. This may come from Danbooru way of handling it.

Well, both. This (post #376721) and its parent (post #365383) are identical in term of dimension AND every single pixel.

Pixiv/nico version normally tends to have better quality, because Twitter uses a very aggressive JPEG compression. But when both are PNG, and the author didn't do any revision, there should be no difference (assuming the author uses the same dimension, of course).
