assumes Japan Color 2001 Coated instead of US Web Coated SWOP v2
You can upload CMYK images here now, just FYI (I found that weirdly you can't save CMYK png images in Photoshop..)

By the way, where does this digital image come from, do you have the original CMYK one by chance?
it's from https://sukebei.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=2183899
DMM also has a epub version, and epub doesn't do ICC's, so I guessed the assumption.

What file formats (and ICC) does this site support, aside from jpg/png(sRGB)?

Saving in CMYK would require some serious attention to ICC profiles and localization, and .tif doesn't work...
You can use JPG/PNG with color profile (other than sRGB) here now.

That said, I'd convert them to RGB before uploading too.

By "assumes Japan Color 2001 Coated" I guess you mean the epub version is originally in CMYK color space, right? Since the fakku version is already in RGB color space
epub should be (sRGB), I think: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2009595

Any of the below could happen. I am not familiar with the printing process.:
work in (X), export to (CMYK) for print
work in (X), export to epub (sRGB)
work in (X), send to translation, convert to png (sRGB)
work in (X), export to (CMYK) for print, send to translation, convert to png (sRGB)

for X = sRGB, or something else

I don't know if what I did assumed truth, but at least the hair is brown now.
I didn't get it, it makes no sense.

The original file is sRGB already, what do you mean by "assume Japan Color 2001 Coated"?

"Japan Color 2001 Coated" is a CMYK profile. Or in other words, you can use it to map an CMYK colorspace file to a RGB colorspace one (or vice versa).

How can you convert an sRGB image to another sRGB and change the color in between by "assume Japan Color 2001 Coated"? Did you convert it back to CMYK first?
yes

convert to us swop
assign jp 2001
convert to srgb

------
I tried sampling colors from http://odanon.blog62.fc2.com/, but the images were untagged, and all 3 versions differ (blog, fakku, this).
exaggerated comparison of: dmm sample (untagged) vs fakku vs this, using difference blending in photoshop:
