Fixed version of https://yande.re/post/show/378644. Removed crease, corrected tone and contrast. Not sure that is the right way to go about uploading fixed versions of images, let me know!
Hell no. Please don't touch the color

I didn't touch the color, just the contrast and tone to fix the "washing out" that happens when you scan something. Compare my fixed version with the original scan, you'll notice the blacks are blacker and everything looks "richer". Don't just automatically reject mine because it looks different from the scan! Compare it to fuzichoko's digital art on her website and you'll see the difference!
Just adjusting the contrast and not the tone might be more to your liking in that case. This fixes the washing-out from the scan while not enriching the image.
Here's a version with just the contrast corrected, this more to your liking?

Just for your information:

Due to the limitation of printing and scanning technique, it is not possible to keep or represent the original color or contrast 100% accurately. For example when scanning black will never be pure black and white will never be pure white. I normally will adjust the level a little bit in post processing so it will be more like the originals. But to avoid color clipping (two or more different dark/light colors became the same), I don't cut them entirely (tips: for white, it's normally okish to just pick white area as 255,255,255; but you never choose the black and set it as 0,0,0 in RGB. that will result in the whole picture be too dark; because when printing they use separate ink (K) for black area). The intent is to keep the best details in color as we can.

Of course you can find a digital sample and match them, so the color/tone will be more accurate, but then:

1) it's time consuming
2) sample may not available

Also, I'm against adjusting color/tone/contrast/whatever arbitrarily when fixing because:

1) You never know what the artist wants, or what they actually look like if you don't have the book. Some artists, including fujichoko here prefer a more "washed out" color style.
2) it breaks the uniformity in color of the whole batch of scans

I already pointed you to the digital original. They're supposed to be "washed out"
That was the digital original you linked to was it? I thought it was an adjusted scan, I ended up going to her website to find the original so I had something to compare to!

Yeah, seems like whoever scanned the original did a damned good job! Even unedited, it looks very close to the digital version. I'm so used to having to deal with shitty scans that I automatically assume that anything scanned will need done work done to it! Uploading a version with just the crease removed now!
