Mr_GT, please stop changing miqo'te to green. It's not the name of a character. It's a race, just like elf or catgirl.

If that's the case then going by that logic things like mithra shouldn't be a character tag either.

Also if we turn them into general tags, then there would be no point in having them since nekomimi + final_fantasy would garner the same results as using either one of those tags. Seem pretty pointless to have on Yand.re.

So, it should be removed totally? As it shouldn't be a General tag either (exist in FF14 only).

P.S. We don't have a "Race" type for tags here, and so the closest thing is Character.

Update: Reverted daedalus25's change of type edit until they can supply the exact character names for all images having this tag.

If all the "miqo'te" in FF have similar appearance, nothing wrong to tag them as a character. Check ragnarok_online.

After all, the tag is there to help people find images.

Sorry didn't notice there was a discussion. I said nothing about REMOVING the tags. If you're going to make races a character tag, then "elf", "nekomimi", "kitsune", etc. need to be made character tags too. Miqo'te is a race. It's stupid to have images like https://yande.re/post/show/347101 where Y'shtola is tagged as both "Y'shtola" and a character "miqo'te".

And yes, Mr_GT, mithra should not be green either. Miqo'te is a subclassification of nekomimi, so there's nothing wrong with having both. That would be like saying there shouldn't be a "bunny ears" category since "animal ears" covers that.

1. Please refer to my previous comment
2. "elf", "nekomimi", "kitsune", "bunny ears" exist in various works from everywhere, and so they're (and can be) General-typed. However, "miqo'te" exists in FF14 ONLY, and so it should be Character-typed.
