about 16 years agoPlayed around with cleaning up this scan:
- greyc with alpha 1.5, sigma 2.5, sharpness 0.6, amplitude 80; this cleaned up most of the screening but left ghosts (smears) around the image;
- another greyc pass, anisotrophy 0.8, alpha 1.5; this cleaned up some more screening, and cleared up the smears, but left most of the image a little dark (white was 250,250,250);
- levels: input 0,1.0,250, to fix white;
- sharpen edges, to clear things up a bit.
Could probably do better, the solid areas and a few lines are a bit mushy ...
