Why does this have so much artifacting?

I can't find it on the source link but the image in the background looks much better ( http://amuse-c.jp/crystalia/img/mainvisual.jpg ) though that one does have a border at the bottom which obscures a small part of the image.

I'd guess they changed their homepage.

Also, one of the them is stretched so it has a incorrect aspect ratio. Hard to tell which, though, but my money is on post #404558 since Amazon's sample picture has same aspect ratio as this one (post #400063).

The bottom part of post #404558 is "whitened", though (probably in order to seamlessly connect the web page's white portion underneath). That's why I didn't upload that version.

When that page was still a teaser site for the game.

P.S. Just hope that the game package will have this image + someone can scan it, and so these two can be retired by the time.
