It's possible azur_lane and bilan_hangxian are the same title, while bilan hangxian is Chinese pinyin of azur(e) lane.

Correct. A Mod has just migrated everything from the latter to the former one.

Just want to make everyone's (mainly uploaders) life easier considering majority of other image boards use "azur_lane". And fortunately the amount of posts is still manageable at the moment.

Would it be better if there were some symlink mechanic to link alternative names(or phonetic symbol/romaji) together?

This is going to end up with the same kind of post volume as Kancolle eventually, so it's probably a good thing to get the tags standardized now while it's manageable.
