kawaiiiii! shame more people aren't excited for this couple's comeback mostly because we as an audience become so used to creepy perverse kid girl x girl relationships (nanoha/fate) (illya/miyu/kiro) that when a boy x girl kid couple comes along we as an audience don't know what to make of it.

Do you consider love as pervert between Nanoha and Fate because they are kids (9 YO at the beginning), while it’s OK for Sakura and Shaoran (12 YO, here)? Or is it because S × S is heterosexual, what N × F is not?

like I said it's been a while since a boy x girl couple has gotten center stage in mahou shojo story. it's a nice change of pace for once. the yuri stuff in nanoha has gotten out of hand and has a lot of plot holes to me like how do they reproduce in that world if men are hardly in it? the cloning thing can only go so far. besides the yuri thing is starting to get boring when it's done over and over again. the "new" main characters in almost every nanoha franchise if just a clone of nanoha and fate but with different eye color hair color and not so tragic backstories; vivio and einhart, rinne and fuuka. yes I know about nanoha force but that will never see the light of day because the title character is a boy and it didn't do well in sales.

Boy x girl is shit tier, and actually the most dangerous kind of relationship, and more than that it's not at all uncommon in shoujo targeted magical girl shows. Obviously in male otaku
magical girls like Nanoha or Prisma Illya, there won't be any romance with little boy involved as focus.

But why won't there be? Creators should do what makes sense in the narrative not pander to the masses just because they say so.

Even if most of the main characters are lesbians don’t mean that everyone on all the different worlds in the Nanoha-verse is. Erio and Caro are a couple at the end of StrikerS, as far as I can say about them. And if it’s just the question about reproduction: even lesbians can be pregnant, you know?

Trit thank you they’re are so many yuri and yoai relationships that are bad but they get a free pass because girlxgirl/guyxguy is hot. Like kannazuki no miko for example what chikane did ti himeko was sneaky, rotten, and horrible but most “fans” don’t care because they’re getting their precious yuri. But if that souma boy assulted himeko like chikane did people would be screaming for his head just because he’s a guy.

nanoha and fate don't "click" for me as a couple. As a strategic team yes but not a couple. They don't have any chemistry. The viewer never sees them interact individually on their own without each other. do they hang out with anyone besides themselves or their inner circle of friends? do they have a favorite place to go to sometimes? how do they help each other both apart and far away? the series makes a big deal about how "cute" their relationship is without going in depth about it.

Not sure what you are on about, Nanoha and Fate are as close to being a couple as possible without canonically stating so, they even have and adopted daughter who call them Nanoha-mama and Fate-mama. The series makes a bid deal about going full yuri undertones and heavy implications, not about how "cute" theirrr relationship is, not since the beginning.

I thought StrikerS basically let this cat out of the bag when they showed the two of them sharing the same bedroom?
