Call me bitter, but I don't see the point in this picture.

Would have been better if someone vectored it.

imo the fixed tag should be replaced with 'broken' heh, the cut isn't very clean and doesn't do anything to improve the picture, quite the reverse really.

I might actually vector these dvd covers myself one day, as well as the first season cute dvd covers. One day ;)

those are called "renders" by some people, and are mainly used as basis for images on your browsers (see lolipower for example)

... wha? If you mean vectors are sometimes called renders then those people are idiots. If you meant something else, please clarify what you meant :)

And sorry, but I'd be starting with my Hanyuu before anyone else ;) Unfortunately I need a new mouse before I can do any vectoring since my current mouse has a very broken sensor.

It's not inaccurate. An SVG is a vector; the PNG or JPEG you get from an SVG is a render (of the vector). But it's not synonymous (think 3d renders).

"Render" is not jargon specific to 3d graphics. What you're looking at right now is a render of HTML.

Never said it was, I just dislike people using the term to refer to cutouts.
