one of the few images where the artist took the effort to thread the hair properly around the horns. Most just plop the horns unnaturally on top of the hair. +1 to this artist for making the effort, unfortunately the artist is not tagged :(

Shouldn't those horns be flat for threading to flow this way? I didn't have the idea how to find the reference at the time of your comment, so I've waited. See post #436168 on the extreme "threading", towards which the effort you noticed should lean more, I think.

The "shade" cast by the sizeable horns would block hair flowing from the top of the head, thus preventing the circumferential uniformity of hair density. =)
