Is stated that she is growing. And not just her. All girls are growing, as by time of future they all should be bakunyuu sizes. Here we should most likely get to see some first signs of those growths.

It's not necessarily sad, or unjustified.
Like for example, this artist certainly don't have an idea how to draw small girl attractively, just look at Koneko's behind, it looks absolutely horrible. It might be just the specific artist doing QUALITY art, like it often happens, but if it's any implication for the new artstyle, it's at least a disaster for the (not too many obviously, though) small girl fans of the series.

I'm talking more about the trailer really. But yeah I like more the story and the jokes than the visuals in the LN.
