I highly recommend this anime, you won't be disappointed after watching it!

You're right, I wasn't disappointed, I expected it to be too tryhard and not actually funny, operating with a lot of randumb and reference humor, and it turned out to be just like that after 3 episodes.

Now I want to watch it so I can be just as disappointed.

It did get tiring after a bit. Tried too hard.

It's better if you only watch the first half starting with episode 2. Skipping the goofy "re-dub" repeats turns it into more of a short-form anime that works better.

I think there was only one episode where I would have regretted skipping the "man voice" repeat in the second half, where they actually had some slightly different content. Most of them are basically identical except for the change in voicing.

If you only watch one episode it should be the one where they did the rock star guitar story on notebook flipboards. I think it's episode 6 or 7 maybe? That sketch was incredible and was easily the best single bit in the whole show IMO.
