The tag has shota in it so that should mean all four are young males.

Please remember to remove tagme if both copyright and artist are tagged.

That shota tag was added by me because the leftmost kid that seems to a boy isn't properly clothed (bottomless maybe), but can't be sure if girls exist among the other kids.

That is, the existence of that tag does NOT imply all those kids are boys - one can add loli as well if they think there exists Questionable/Explicit little girl(s) in the image.

From the toys ( toy cars and bunny, bear) you can assume there both girls and boys there. The red star thingy on that blond whit blue shirt maybe a girl. Or that is Reimu's secret room! Or its the elementary school's room.

I really think the tag should be updated by adding that information.
(Clicking the question mark by said tag and clicking Edit.)

I had assumed all of the four children were males since that tag was applied.

The two on the right looked like males and the ones on the left look like females but knowing Japanese artists, they could also be young traps so that would make them males too.

I'll take your word for it though.
