Tagging has steadily gotten worse here in the last few years. Particularly missing artist tags.

Agreed. Especially missing artist tags. Seem to be a few consistent culprits. Still...love the site and am glad of the poster's efforts.

Tagging artists has always been a pain tbh. Most people don't know Japanese enough to accurately name a post a certain artist. Some of the artist here have very vague or too common of a name that people tend to not waste their time on.

I argue you could give those culprits a few negative reports for consistent lack of tagging. However you would have to prove that the person involving is actually doing a piss-poor job at tagging and not simply having trouble remember character/copyright/artist names.

Well at least people seem to be doing a good job of putting the tagme tag on when they don't put in the artist's name. Wish there was a way to search for posts that don't have an artist name so I could work on researching them.

Danbooru does has arttags:(x) here (x) would be the number of artist tags you're looking for. This function would be great here I if Yande could run a script that allow it.
