Bad CG is horrible. I still yearn for the days of proper hand-drawn animation.

Yeah, but both lazy animation and ugly CG is getting more obnoxious AND prominent.
Now you either watch a rare shounen super production (like Dororo this season), or you have to settle to the lowest form of animation, visually speaking.
I can't even stomach to watch through a SoL/moe series anymore.
