Once I spent times to make few wallpapers before I got my scanner, but I don't know these heve worth to share.

If you can share them I'm open to receive them :). You could upload them to megaupload or rapidshare in zip/rar?

since this wp is my best and the rest which I keep even now are very few, so I'll upload your site one by one not using zip.

Pretty good wallpaper ^^

Though i think you should have made the outer glow that seems to be color dodged a bit more transparent ^^ Cause at the tip of the hair, it looks rather large and bulky, which makes me think it's cheaply done >.<

Overall it's quite nice.

I agree with Radioactive, user-created wallpapers don't belong here, regardless of quality.

This site is about quality. I don't see how who created it is relevant.

(Of course, if someone's just tweaking an image to fit some random desktop resolution, then Konachan is better suited for that and we'd rather just have the original. But that's unrelated to who's doing it.)

Because this isn't about who "created" it. Someone other than the artist cut + paste + tweaked the original drawing to their liking. Isn't the fact that "it isn't the way the artist intended" your whole basis when it comes to cropping images in the first place?

By that logic, we shouldn't allow photoshops at all. There's nothing wrong with photoshops and wallpapers as such, as long as they're not presented as if they're the original image.

That's not what we're talking about here. Here the notion is that wallpapers are fine, as long as the user posting it isn't the person who created it. I don't understand the logic of that.

I was going by that butchered image originally by Itumi Sakurazawa that was uploaded some time ago, that was promptly deleted upon discovery that it was a fan-made wallpaper and not in fact the original image (in which the deletion reason was clearly stated). It was then that I figured it was a rule, guess I was incorrect (as much as I disliked it, even that photoshop job was a hell of a lot cleaner than this one). I suppose it depends on the mod that discovers it first.

In an ideal world we shouldn't be hosting user-created wallpaper-resolution images. They should be on Konachan. As this isn't, we have to judge each wallpapers on its own merits. I'm pro-deleting them if they are not high-quality, or are horribly butchered. Believe me, some of the wallpapers that I've deleted are sub-AP/MT level.

I have no issues with artist/studio created wallpapers.

As for this one? I'm for leaving it here unless someone flags it for deletion.
