I kinda doubt that's easy to implement but I can ask him if you want.

Thanks. I've not encountered a lot of rotated dupes, so I'll leave it as is.

Could probably be done faster with some tricks: "normalize" the image, rotating it to, say, put the brightest quadrant in the top-left before doing any other processing...
