Looks like the so-called "witchcraft" in this universe is just = "broom racing"?

Also the stereotype of "a person that rides a broom = a witch = a female", but there's no rule that forbids a male to learn riding a broom?
my thought was..that he seemed out of place whit so many girls..and he's just a kid. no stereotype..if its broom racing why is he the only male?

That's why I said stereotype - (in this universe) almost no males want to become a broom racer possibly because "it's a witches' (girls') thing".
