I did. Liked, though the animation was kind of dissapointing considering it's a movie.

The movie was horrible. It looked like an animation of the 80's

The movie was by the same studio (Toei) that did the original 2002 Kanon series, no real surprise it sucked ;p

Air was much better than Clannad. Actually I doubt there's anything worse in Toei, taking aside db and that kind of crap.

So does Key only produce tragic anime's and games? Planetarian was another one Key produced and I actually bought the game (story) in Japanese and downloaded the English translation for it. Was Air produced by Key as well?

The games have arcs, so they can end tragically or not, depending on your choices, but yes most of the arcs you could say.

Too expensive. The amount Key want for licensing is seriously ridiculous, so other than fan translations, you won't be seeing anything official ;_;

Yes, that much I understand. But it's still too bad. I heard FSN was fan translated or at least partly translated but the game is around $100US. Unless the price has changed recently that's an expensive game. Even still, Planetarian cost me about $80US (if I remember right) and I still forked out the money for it.

lol yeah, type moon games go for huge amounts. Try looking for the original Tsukihime sometime but be prepared with some clean underpants ;)

Just their style I think.
And the Key style is my favourite. Some tragedy scenario writers either have not enough ability or just not my style, when their stories come to climax I just feel being left out of the scene, the story goes on on its own and I'm not moved. I feel really foolish and a waste of time at such moments...

But comedies are safer I think, just watching boy and girl date each other, have fun and sex can never be bad, if the CG artist is OK and your parents aren't behind you = =.

One who watches the anime fully...or one who plays the true end of the visual novel fully...
