Idk why artists think it's a good idea to ruin an otherwise nice artwork with this 'out of focus' effect. It just makes me feel like I need glasses.

It's an Photoshop technique called "color fringing" that gives it that blurry look and I really hate it too.

Look up close and the edge is broken up into red and green. I can reduce it a little bit in Photoshop with Camera Raw's Defringe. If I can at all explain the problem with this effect to any artist using it, I will.
