Why do peoples vector, then save the freaking vector as jpg .. >.>

Vector looks nice to me.

My guess is they saved it into JPG to prevent file to be too large. PNG files can have a lol filesize.

I don't know vector, but is original vector format smaller than png?
I don't like jpeg vector, too.

The problem with jpg format is that you have to rerender the whole thing if you wanna use it as source picture in wallpapers.. which defeat the whole point of vectoring something. .

midzki, vector format (such as svg, ai, eps, cdr) is not really comparable to jpeg or png, because it stores the graphical information in a resolution-independent manner (like how TrueType fonts can be drawn at any size). So, the size of a vector image is determined by the complexity of the drawing, where the size of a bitmap image (png, jpg) is determined by both the image size and compression efficiency.
