Maybe the system thought yours wasn't an exact duplicate?

Odd. Danbooru gave me an already uploaded notice and I can't see the difference. So no point in keeping it.

Danbooru regularly updates their system, and the detection algorithms might have modified during these updates.

Good point. Would you want to undelete it and check?

Well, in this case, the local (yande.re's) system did correctly identify this is NOT an exact copy, then.

Glad I asked. I wished I had waited for you to look at it before writing it off as a copy.

Someone on Danbooru posted it after the revision, which explains why it was tagged as already uploaded.

Not sure if this is the case, but they also have a system that can directly replace the image in a post (without creating a new one).
