Probably my favourite teen romance. Nice to see a male lead who doesn't suck, and a general character set that doesn't consist of either stupid/pervy/plain annoying types. And the sci-fi background gave it some interesting problems for the hero/heroine to overcome ;) Of course, Narue being voiced by one of my favourite VAs helps too.

Anything that gets away from the "we're in the 9th season and we've almost worked up the guts to hold hands" and "oh god this girl keeps jumping on me and she won't go away, leave me alone" categories...

I'd probably have to vote for Bokura ga Ita. It's almost believable.

Oh god, if anyone has seen the ending theme/credit, you should watch it. It has a nice soft melody sung by Saeko Chiba. Probably my favorite anime song of all time.

Yup, ending theme is really nice :)

Petopeto: seriously, I got so fed up of watching generic teen romance I just stopped watching altogether mostly, unless it was something I'd been recommended because it was different to the usual crap. Funnily enough I haven't watched Bokura ga Ita yet, guess I should put that on my list.
