the way i see this... it's rather symbolic... notice there is only one set of footprints on the sand... the artist also made sure it belonged to the black dressed one as the one with the white dress is barefoot...

Then don't add anything in this case (I don't think we have loads of homicide-themed images here, anyways).

Sooo....since we don't have "loads of" homicide-themed images we gonna just ignore this? what about people who don't want to see this kind of images? do they just drop the site completely because they don't want add a tag?

This site's policy is to keep as few General-typed tags as possible (possibly because its main purpose is for storing pools of scanned/digital books). So, a General-typed tag may still NOT be permitted even though there're indeed loads of images depicting it.

And yes, since there're other danbooru-like sites (e.g. Danbooru itself, Sankaku Channel, etc.) that permit unlimited General tags, one may visit there instead if they feel comfortable - those sites have way more images than here, anyways.

"extreme" here referring to 'disturbing' and the like.
I'd say this is way more disturbing that your usual tentacle, though, and even those are considered "extreme". :D

But perhaps guro would be the most fitting, as it describes anything grotesque/repulsive and most would consider explicit depiction of death as such.

Not nearly as much. I have a bias you see, I am an human, I tend to care more about other humans than monsters.
So if I see a killed monster I am mostly like "meh" unless it's a cute one.

Yes but I mostly just visit yandere because it tends to host mostly decent or higher quality images while Danbooru / Gelboruu / whatever tends to host all kind of images, including extreme low quality ones which tends to spam the site and hinder the overall navigation.

I'll tag this image as guro since as the user said guru can be described as "anything grotesque/repulsive" and shooting someone it's pretty repulsive in my book.

Still I'd rather have a "death" tag.
