Taiga's right elbow is pointing straight upwards to the left. Now try that in front of a mirror without breaking your bones beforehand.

Her elbow is fine, it's bent a tad awkwardly looking, but I've seen people bend it back a bit like that. Her elbow is facing down and left (outer side) and the innerside is up and right. Look at her hand then follow her arm back, it all works fine, if a bit awkward looking.

Ami's elbow grosses me out a bit.

It is one of those scans which just look wrong.

No matter how you may look at it, it's facing upwards.

Looks fine to me. Her elbow is actually pointing down to left. My arm can bend a bit over 180°, the foreshortening just made it look a little extreme.

ami ruins this picture for me since i don't like her character.
