Style aside, what's going on with the weird "interlacing" effect? It makes it look pretty bad when scaled to normal viewing size, and it's far too precise to be anything printed.

Maybe it's supposed to be like this..could be heavy textured paper..or something similar.

Looks like someone added a pattern overlay in photoshop or something O_o So yeah, either faggotry or scanner bug seems likely.
