Huh. Tried changing the source link, but apparently the old one is still displaying. History shows the new one, though (as well as a quick artist search) so I'm guessing it's a bug? This also appears to be happening to some other posts as well.

I think it is doing some 'intelligent' translation of http://img12.pixiv.net/ to the full pixiv address. Your link gets 403 whilst the translated address works.

You're probably right, Pixiv will 403 by default when you direct link to pictures. Should we use the full links instead of the direct links to images, then?

not only pixiv, we should use full links instead of direct image links to know information of artists easily imo :)

Yeah, if you look at the history, you'll notice that I've been changing most pixiv links to the direct image. Danbooru will convert automagically to the medium sample page. I'm not completely sure if Moe is set up to do what the main Danbooru can, but if you put the direct image in the source, I think it will download it for you and you can skip the step of putting it on your harddrive. You might also notice that the direct image link has the login name of the artist, which never changes (unlike the display name). I've been trying to put links in the artist DB so when you click the "find artist" button, you actually get the right one, and this should be getting more effective.
Good timing though, I was thinking about writing a quick section for pixiv in the artist DB article just yesterday.
(Also, it should only 403 if you're not logged in. Still hasn't been working for you, Radioactive?)

Thanks for clearing this up, Aurelia. The only reason I was using the full links before was, just like midzki said, so that people could get more information. Since the link will be converted anyway, I'll use the direct image links from now on. Just out of curiosity, will this work with other websites such as AP or MT?

Don't think those two sites work. We don't really bother with those two, since they don't tell you much that the tags don't, and you won't get the right results from using "find artist". For the source box, direct links to images from pixiv/DeviantArt/artist blogs are good, and links to non-stupid scan sites like Pireze are also okay.
