Why do you delete the twitter version?
The Twitter one had the exact same quality. In this case the Pixiv is a dupe and should be deleted.

Because I wanted to, at least for this image. I did posted both version so there was no harm in deleting the Twitter one (as long as I properly parent/child them). It's not something I'll do to all pic however.

No, I just felt like keeping the Pixiv version this time. Are you concerned I'll do the same to your Twitter post in the future?

Edit: In hindsight I should have said that earlier and this entire thing could have just ended there. BTW, incase you're wondering no I'm going to replace your Twit pic if the Pixiv is the same quality.

We should anonymous all post uploader & replace all Twitter version pictures with pixiv/fanbox/.etc version if they are even 1kb larger in file size.
This is not sarcasm, I'm serious because all Twitter pictures in my hard disk was replaced by pixiv version even if they were the same quality and same size.

Why didn't you complain? That's not how it should be done and was wrong from the deleter. Even an admin is against it.

If we anonymous all uploader then no one would complain if their post got replaced by another 1kb bigger from other source.

And the site would be dying.

The more pressing problem with anonymous posting is the fact that people could post really shitty and/or disgusting things on the site and would be able to get away with it since it's not tied to them. Unless each post stores the IP address of the poster they be no way of knowing who posted what.

Edit: I personally find the idea of anonymous posting something interesting, but can easily lead to abuse & trolling.

Well, currently you're abusing your Mod status to replace your own post with another one.
Not that I complain about replacing them, there are some post of my own I would like to replace them too that's the same quality but smaller in file size.

imo,twitter would compressed image not only in resolution sometime,im not sure this case,but i sure image been loved
