I think it was a pioneer in many senses: girls in military positions, mechanical attachments, girls academy, and there's probably more things.

Things such as none of them wearing pants? And the show treating that like it's 100% normal and never referencing it. 15 years later it's still weird, which is really saying something in the anime world.

Haha but the manga still running. Last time even showing Hajime butt from behind. As for Strike Witches, definitely going to watch RTB. I agree SW franchise became "tamer" after season 2. Watching Brave Witches, disappointed with so little amount of fanservice.

This is suggestion for younglings that browsing this site. If there are word that you don't understand, it is faster asking Google first. Because this site is anime manga related, you could add that to narrow it down. Most of the time Google knew the answer. Not everyone on the internet is kind.
