Which one should we keep? post #77063 has a red hue, and this one is a bit too muted.

Dunno, I did adjust white point, admin2 said it looked fine when I asked on irc. I don't have original.
Keep other one, it is easier to fix hue than black colour on this one I guess? or just keep both

Imo post #77063 looks better. This one is way to reddish.

Are you sure you haven't got the two images mixed-up? post #77063 has the red hue.

IMO, the parent is better than the child post. The hue is more acceptable to me than the over contrasted post.

I only tried to make black areas truly black, nothing else was changed so it is not clipped it just have same black colour as site background

It's heavily clipped. The top of the eyes and the black hair are the same color; the purple is clipped to 0. The highlight in the hair is very thin, because half of it is also clipped to black. The blush cuts off fast instead of fading out gradually, because the red is clipped to 100%.

ah ok I didn't understand what you meant, well if there is other ways to fix her hair without losing quality in other places I would like to know it

Neither do I, but petopeto is an expert on these types of things.

These type of things are easy English for me, but I haven't better words to explain it.
