Can anyone see an obvious reason why the file size for P&C are so different? I haven't spotted any visual difference yet.

Probably different JPEG level compression.

This's recompressed post #72597. if it were using same Jpeg compression, it'd have more Jpeg artifacts than post #72597.

Post #72597 is the original I got from Animepaper. I think someone just shopped out the text and resaved with a higher compression for this one.

post #79041 has removed text without losing jpeg quality. so it's O.K.
(If I did same job, I reduced Jpeg artifacts, but it's unusual way :p)
