why are we getting so many "temporarily held from the index by the poster" ?

Spamming the index with 28 images in a row isn't my style.

How do you even hold back a post? It's a mystery of this site for me like the Edit tags box in the settings which would be useful but doesn't work.

Add “hold” among the tags.

Note: Have to do it when uploading (i.e. before you click the Upload button), otherwise it won't work and have to use hide instead as a workaround.

Technically you can hold an image after uploading, but you need to do so within a minute or two afterward. Still best to add "hold" before hitting the upload button though.
