I don't agree with deleting the post like that. Because the quality of the others in the pool is just so so, only one is high res is not unified. ;_;
Sorry, I don't agree with your argument. We shouldn't keep low-res/poor quality duplicate scans.
All right, maybe you're right. I also not totally against you. :P IMO these "dupe" post aren't exactly "same", they are just use the same art but something like header/footer/color and so on are different. And I think we can make these bad quality one be the child one ,even delete them (That's OK for me) but shouln't replace their positions in the pool.

Because though they use the same art, but they are actually the pages of different artbooks. So I think just leave the "Image deleted" icon in the pool is OK, and think about we have the pool feature which can show the parent one automatically.

Just talk about my point, no need for agreement. :P And apparently my English is poor.. orz
I'd demand pool completion > p/c replacement.
I met those image replacement in the pools millions of times, and I'm feeling uneasy always. if the pool has different source images (even if they're better), the pool has lost its completion.

If there is sufficient difference between the parent and child then the child is kept. This normally includes blocks of text. Colour differences are difficult to make a decision on though.

As above, if there is sufficient difference then the image will be kept. Pool completion is an different subject that we can take to the forum if you want.
