Is it appropriate to use the landscape tag on images containing mostly land, but also have a character present?

I think so. It looks like a bunch of the images tagged with landscape also have characters in them.

I'd hate to miss out on a great landscape image cause we refused to tag it as such cause we have a character present.

If we define it : an expanse of scenery that can be seen in a single view. Tagging it as a landscape wouldn't matter even with the character there. For now, tag it as such unless someone would like to expand on this matter.

Gah, guess I wasn't clear enough. I meant that landscape images can have characters in them. I'll try to make that sentence better.

That definition makes sense to me. From quickly browsing a couple of pages on Danbooru with the tag, I believe they use it the same way, although it isn't defined in their wiki. (I checked before asking.)
